Hey! I'm Emily Johnson!

Mother, Educator, Dyslexia Advocate, Motivator, CEO

I am a mother of three amazing boys with dyslexia. As an educator, I had the background to help me navigate the world of dyslexia. I have a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education, Master of Education in Special Education, training to the Associate Level in Orton Gillingham, and training in Structured Literacy. I have worked in public schools, private schools, contracted with public schools virtually to provide Structured Literacy all over the United States, trained educators in Structured Literacy, and created this tutoring company specifically for children and adults with Dyslexia. I searched and searched for ways to help my boys through their educational journey, I found minimal support with curriculum that would make a difference. That was until I dove deep into Structured Literacy and Orton Gillingham. I began training in Structured Literacy and Orton Gillingham and got to work! Fast forward to today, and I have helped hundreds of students over the last decade realize their amazing talents and helped them achieve reading and writing success through my programs!

As a mother of three boys with dyslexia, I understand the challenges with reading and writing.

I was feeling how you feel not long ago....

This is why I came up with a program that fits everyones schedules, needs, and learning styles!

Just like you, I wanted to see my children succeed....

That is why I created a program to fit the needs of all children. Every child learns differently and at their own pace. This program will allow children to progress based on their needs and their learning styles.

My Story...

I am a parent, just like you. I searched for ways to better assist my children with dyslexia. I learned Structured Literacy and Orton Gillingham and came up with a way to make learning with Dyslexia effective for every family's needs.

When my one to one classes filled up...

I decided it was time to add in at home written curriculum for my students. This allowed my students to continue working on the same strategies I taught them throughout the entire week. However, I had parents asking for more. That is when I decided to add a video curriculum to meet all of my family's needs.

*Written Curriculum to do asynchronously in reading and/or writing, with weekly consultation with a Lit Leaders Tutor

*Video Curriculum to do asynchronously in reading and/or writing, with weekly consultation with a Lit Leaders Tutor

*One to One Lessons with a Lit Leaders Tutor in reading and/or writing, while completing an at home curriculum of choice and weekly consultation with your Lit Leaders Tutor
